Proudly presenting the brand new video for punk vaudeville band Jarmean? in anticipation of the release of their single “Bad Penny” in early May. Recently named ‘Best of MySpace’ by NME radio’s Gill Mills, this Whitechapel set have been steadily building a loyal following of cockney rap aficionados.

The video features burlesque artiste Ophelia Bitz in the role of ‘Penny’, actor Kathryn Ritchie as the ‘beggar girl’ and Lola, the dog. Directed by Alex (aka Lexitricity), it was shot by Mike Bates and edited by Mark Curl. Here it is folks, the hotly anticipated “Bad Penny” video! Black comedy “The Morning After” has been selected for FilmFest Dresden, as part of the popular British Focus programme ‘Deadly Encounters’. It will be showing three times during the festival: on the opening night, Tuesday 20 April at 8pm, followed by a late night showing on the Friday at 12.30am, with the final screening on Sunday 25 April at 8pm. The programme will then continue to tour across various cities in May. I will be there presenting the film, so if you plan to attend, do get in touch!
